Bomb attacks in Baghdad, other Iraqi cities kill 4

Police officers say the bombs in three Iraqi cities have killed two soldiers, a policeman and a pro-Government Sunni fighter.

Police say a roadside bomb targeting an army vehicle near Baghdad of Abu Ghraib on Monday two soldiers killed and another eight injured.

Another roadside bomb exploded near a police car in Mosul, killing a police officer in the city, 360 kilometers (225 miles) northwest of Baghdad.

A third explosion took place in the northern city of Kirkuk, about 290 kilometers (180 miles) of Baghdad. Police say that a car bomb killed a fighter with the pro-Government group known as the Sahwa, who has fought against al-Qaeda.

Heath officials confirmed the death toll.

All officials spoke anonymously because they were not allowed to speak to the media.
