The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) will further question Insp. Gen. Djoko Susilo in the driving simulator procurement scandal after National Police detectives finish their investigation.

“We will wait for more details from the dossier,” KPK spokesperson Johan Budi told a press conference on Thursday.

The police did not give the dossier to the KPK as scheduled on Thursday for unspecified reasons.

Johan said that the commission would continue to question other suspects as it awaited the case file.

The National Police proceeded with its own investigation of the allegations surrounding the police general after the commission named Djoko a suspect in the Rp 200 billion (US$21.2 million) bribery case

at the National Police Traffic Corps (Korlantas).

The KPK declared four suspects in the case, namely: Djoko; Brig. Gen. Didik Purnomo, deputy chief to Djoko when he headed Korlantas; Sukotjo Bambang, owner of tender winner company PT Inovasi Teknologi Indonesia (IT); and Budi Susanto, owner of PT Citra Mandiri Metalindo Abadi. (iwa)
