The party Golkar on Wednesday denied reports that former prosperous Justice Party legislator that m. Misbakhun has been nominated as a legislative party candidate.

"It's not final yet. [Recruitment process] is still going on, "Party Secretary General Nurul Arifin sais as quoted by tribunnews.com.

Nurul said that misbakhun have taken part in the training program for aspiring party officials, but that is no guarantee that he would be nominated as a candidate for the elections of 2014. "Let's see if he is on the list of provisional legislative candidates," she told reporters.

Earlier, Golkar Executive Ade Komarudin announced that Misbakhun and several other politicians, including Lily Wahid of the National Awakening Party (PKB), as Golkar candidates.

Misbakhun resigned as PKS legislature after being accused of faking a mortgage letter to obtain credit from Bank century (now Bank Mutiara) in 2011. The Supreme Court, however, dismissed him in July 2012.

The PKS said it had never officially fired Misbakhun and asked him to run for Office again in 2014.
